Acupuncture Facelift, as a form of non-surgical face lift has recently become a mainstream alternative to surgery, especially as great results were attained by the rich and famous!
This type of facial rejuvenation involves bringing fresh oxygenated blood to the face. It has been proven to stimulate collagen production.
Collagen is a protein found in skin cells which stops being produced as we age. A lack of collagen is responsible for wrinkles, fine lines and loss of skin elasticity.
The treatment slows down the aging process from within and is well suited for both female and male patients. Bring out your inner radiance without the pharmaceutical side effects or nerve damage of conventional methods.
In the process of having the treatment done your practitioner will use the needles both âlocallyâ (on the facial points) and in other areas of your body as the focus for acupuncture is not just to address the problem but also the internal cause of the problem (the imbalance in your Qi).

What does Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment involve?
Initially you will consult with your practitioner to review your overall health condition. Your tongue and pulse diagnosis will be taken along with an overview of your medical history and lifestyle habits. Since Cosmetic Acupuncture has a cumulative effect most individuals will see significant results after 10 treatments; ideally scheduled twice per week. It is recommended that the client continues with monthly maintenance to ensure the skin remains vitalized and to slow down the process of aging.
Cosmetic Acupuncture FAQ
The needles are finer than a human hair, and usually no pain is felt upon insertion. That being said some points can be uncomfortable for a second once the needle is inserted, but the discomfort usually subsides immediately. There is usually no sensation when the needles are being removed. Most of our clients are surprised how relaxing the treatment sessions are and find stress levels reduced with continued treatment.
Cosmetic Acupuncture points are primarily found on the face but trigger points are also used on the hands and feet. The acupuncturist will discuss with you which points will be treated. The needles will be left in for approximately 30 minutes. Your entire treatment lasts one hour.
Absolutely! Sterile needles are used only once, and then discarded
Each client is treated individually, beginning with a thorough health history taking. Then the therapist will look at your nails, ears, eyes and most importantly the tongue, and will use this information along with your health history to determine the cause of your symptoms and the best treatment. This first appointment is usually about an hour long. Subsequent treatments may vary in length. The acupuncturist will discuss this with you as part of the first treatment. Many patients find acupuncture to be very relaxing, and may even fall asleep during the treatment.
