Active ingredients
Microencapsulated Retinol (0.25%): Derived from Vitamin A, it has strong anti-oxidant properties that diminishe free radicals. It results in a firmer skin that is flexible and plump. By increasing cell turnover, it reduces all signs of aging such as wrinkles and improves skin texture. Retinol is also able to open the pores to reduce acne pimples. It can also effectively target discoloration and clear your skin tone. This ingredient is made with encapsulation technology that releases retinol slowly during the night application in order to minimize the side effects but maximize the benefits.
Niacinamide (vitamin B3): Coming from the family of B-Complex vitamins, it influences concentration of ceramide and free fatty acids in the skin that are essential for maintenance of lipid barrier. It also hydrates the skin by retaining water in the cells that also brightens the tone and calms the irritation. It is extremely helpful in dealing with topical retinoid toleration.
MATRIXYL® Synthe’6®: Isolated from collagen and laminins peptide; this unique ingredient can firm the skin layers that results in reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
Gluconolactone: A gentle exfoliator compared to alpha hydroxy acid (e.g. glycolic and lactic acids), it is from polyhydroxy acid family that also hydrates the skin and diminishes free radicals. The resulting skin is resurfaced and clear.
Sodium Hyaluronate: being a hyaluronic acid, it is able to draw water 1,000 times its own weight from deeper layers to the surface that greatly hydrates your skin at all levels. The result is a plump look and soft feel.
Aloe: Being an extract of Aloe Vera plant, it is highly moisturizing due to having great amount of moisture, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It nourishes and heals your skin at all levels that results in a youthful look and calm feel.
Glutathione: Naturally occurring peptide in human body, it is a strong antioxidant that manages oxidative stress. It is also involved in recycling other antioxidants such as vitamins C, vitamin E and alpha lipoic acid. Its production is decreased by aging process but can be supplemented by skin care products.
